Raw material

Built on the Angren coal and kaolin deposit

5.8 bn t

Estimated total reserves of secondary kaolin at the Angren deposit, according to published research.

The Angren lignite basin is a complex coal and kaolin deposit. Alongside brown coal it holds large reserves of two types of kaolin clay, primary and secondary.

Angren Kaolin enriches this kaolin next to its source. Researchers have described grade AKF-78 as a promising raw material for electrical porcelain, pointing to its alumina content, fine dispersion and low content of colouring oxides.
